Staff Spotlight
This week our staff spotlight is on Robin Levy, our clinic assistant! In 6 short weeks, Robin has found her place in the New Prospect Family and has done a fantastic job! We have had several serious incidents with students over the past week where students have been hurt. Robin has handled each situation with kindness and calmness while truly individualizing her care for what the students needed based on the injury as well as the age of the student. She has followed with parents while also doing the necessary paperwork involved. She has done all of this with a smile on her face and a cheery disposition. Thank you so much Robin we are very appreciative of all you do for us and our students!

Brain Building Day-
Please try to plan for the following when you send your kids to BBB:
-The first teacher who goes to computer lab needs to bring cards with the numbers if all of your students don't know theirs.
-Students will need to return books to the media center during that session. Please plan to either already have those returned or send your kids with their books.
-Please remind your kids of what is going on and what they are doing as well as where you will be...they are very concerned!
In Guidance this month
During guidance lessons on Brain Building Days, students will learn how to be good digital citizens. We will be following lessons from Common Sense Media's curriculum- which help students make good decisions online and learn how to stay safe online
PKES Support
Stephanie will be in the computer lab to assist you with inputting goals on September 13 at 2:45pm if you would like help navigating the online PKES platform.
PAWS PD- Integrating Technology into RUOS/WUOS
In this session, you will learn how to:
- Create a Google Slide Lesson Guide for each unit. (This will really help your lessons flow, and stay as close to 10 minutes as possible!)
- Create assignments that correlate to each of the bends in the unit (and they can even be embedded into your Google Slide Lesson guide so you know exactly when to give the assignment!)
- Have students use Google Slides to organize their writing
- Conferencing via Google Docs/Google Slides
- And more!
