Meet Pam Wright - Media Coordinator

I am excited to join Wrightsboro's Cool Cats team as the media specialist! I volunteered at my children's school and media center for a number of years and loved it so much, I decided to go back to school to be a media specialist. I received my BA from UNCW and am currently finishing my Master of Library Science degree at ECU. Before coming to Wrightsboro, I worked at Bellamy Elementary and volunteered at Pine Valley Elementary. My husband and I have two wonderful sons, James and Colin, who both attend Hoggard High School. We also have two sweet, but wild dogs, Cole & Emma! I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, reading, concerts, theater, and skiing. I am excited to be a Wrightsboro Cool Cat and inspire our readers in the media center!

Meet Arianna Jones - 3rd Grade Teacher

I am Arianna Edwards-Jones. I am a BT 2 teaching 3rd grade at Wrightsboro Elementary School. My husband Trystan and I moved to Wilmington from Western North Carolina because he was offered a job here. My husband and I have a labradoodle named Oakley. We enjoy off-roading in my jeep, being outdoors, and now beach days! I received my bachelors in elementary education. While in undergrad I worked as an assistant in Buncombe County schools serving Kindergarten, first grade, and Title I with K-4. I also served as a third grade interim for a few months while completing my student teaching where the principal filled the role of my clinical teacher. My first year in a classroom was teaching second grade in Madison County at a school that I attended throughout my elementary years. I am currently in grad school at Mars Hill University to receive my Masters in the Arts of Teaching. When graduating, the program will also support me in becoming a NBCT. Younger me was an average student. I didn't enjoy school until my fifth grade year when I had a teacher who saw me, built a relationship with me, and showed me that education can be fun. Although I was 10, throughout middle school and high school, even now, I look back at that year remembering how it changed me. I am a teacher striving to alter the perspective on learning by making students feel loved, understood, safe, and supported. I am here to see all students. In short - the low ones need support, the high ones need enrichment, and the average ones need both. I am so excited to be at Wrightsboro Elementary!

Meet Sally Mabie - Art Teacher
