Staff & Teachers
New Staff/Changes
Please welcome Mr. Chad Cunningham as he will be replacing Mrs. Bond as our 7th/8th Math Teacher. Mr. Cunningham comes to us from Cortez High School. We are excited about these changes for this upcoming school year! Please welcome him to our Bluejay Family!
Introduction from Mr. Cunningham:
Did you know 60 out of 50 people have trouble with fractions? Take my math class and avoid being one of them! I have been a classroom math/computer teacher for over 15 years. I have also coached water skiing, wilderness skills, high ropes courses, basketball, cross-country, and mountain biking in upstate New York, Texas, California, Mexico, North Carolina, and Colorado. I earned my BBA in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University and have taken graduate level courses in Education and Kinesiology from Texas State University and Humboldt State University, respectively. My hobbies include, mountain biking, bicycle maintenance/building, listening to music or a good podcast, binge-watching shows on Netflix and Hulu with my girlfriend (she made me list this ;), disc golf, pickleball (just started playing), and lots of trail time with our dogs, Norm and Gus.

Sports Physicals
Students interested in participating in sports will need a physical. Physicals are good for one year and usually expire in August.
Local doctors will provide sports physicals. Call your child's Dr/Pediatrician to schedule an appointment today.
Athletes are reminded that a sports physical must be obtained prior to participation in any school sport.
We are still waiting to hear from the state athletics if we are able to do fall sports.
