Maple Hill Earns Top Honor
The 2019-2020 Golden Bell Award
The California School Board Association has been honoring esteemed schools and school districts for 40 years in specific, noteworthy, categories with the coveted Golden Bell Award. Maple Hill has made great strides in providing an array of academic, social, and emotional supports to close the Opportunity Gap amongst our students. When you enter Maple Hill, you may notice that our smaller sized MPR has morphed into the "Clubhouse". The Clubhouse houses a network of teachers, a counselor, instructional aides, and parent volunteers that work collectively to provide a safe haven for our students to receive the support they need to perform at their personal best.
Maple Hill had to apply for the Golden Bell Award, complete an extensive application, and host an on-site visitation from a California School Board member. Receiving this accolade is confirmation that Maple Hill is soaring to new heights because of the partnership and collaboration amongst our community and team. Go Hawks!
