President's Message

2023 President’s Message

Happy New Year! It is hard to believe that 2022 is behind us already. I hope 2023 is a healthy and safe year for all.

Congratulations to all newly elected officers and board members. Your hard work and dedication are much appreciated. I look forward to working with you!

The Eta Rho chapter, chartered in 1984, is now in its 39th year. Wow! We have distinguished members around the country who are advancing health through nursing research, practice, service, and scholarship. How can Eta Rho support you?

Eta Rho would not exist without you. Please continue to support our chapter by renewing your membership and becoming involved. We encourage you to learn more about the Board of Directors and how you might begin your journey as a chapter leader. There is something for everyone, and Eta Rho can only meet its goals if we all work together!

Over the next few months, we will seek input on what aspects of chapter membership are most important to you, how Sigma can celebrate your career achievements, and how we can better engage our members. Please take a few moments to complete the emailed survey, as we will use that information to guide future chapter planning.

Thank you to all our members – we appreciate you and are eager to work with you. If you have questions regarding Sigma, our chapter, or how to get the most out of your membership, let’s talk! You can reach me at 734-743-1172 or lfiresti@emich.edu.
