CLINIC NEWS
Thank you! Our numbers show that your efforts are helping control the spread of germs during this seasonal ‘flurry’ of illness. Please continue to encourage and practice hand hygiene and, if they are ill, give your children ample time to rest and recover before returning to school. We are one week away from what I hope will be a Winter Break of family fun for everyone!
A word about birthday treats. We love to share the joy of celebration of your child’s birthday at school. To provide a safe experience for all, we ask that birthday treats be commercially prepared (not homemade) and include a legible ingredient label. Classroom treats should not contain any kind of nut. Individually wrapped items, for example, pre-packaged lunch box snacks, are ideal. An email to the teacher a day or two ahead of the event is also helpful. Thank you for your observance of these guidelines!
We are finishing up vision and hearing screening for Kindergarten, First and Third Grade. If you have received a vision or hearing referral for your child, Winter Break is a great time to follow up on these. After your visit with the doctor, you can take a photo of the completed form and email to the clinic, or return a paper copy to school so we can complete the referral process. If the paperwork is not returned, state guidelines require us to mark the referral as ‘incomplete’. Please contact the clinic if you have questions and/or we can help in any way. Thank you!

Just a few reminders:
