Red Ribbon Week
Please join us in celebrating Red Ribbon Week by sending donations for the Community Link Mission and participating in our dress-up days.
Monday, October 21st
Donation: Canned Vegetables
Dress-Up Theme: "I am RED-y to be drug free!? Wear red to kick off drug free week.
Tuesday, October 22nd
Donation: Canned Soup, Stew, Turkey Gravy
Dress-Up Theme: "I have the POWER to be drug free!" Wear your favorite superhero attire.
Wednesday, October 23rd
Donation: Canned Fruit (Yams, Cranberries, Pumpkin)
Dress-Up Theme: "I will NOT get MIXED up with drugs" Wear clothing that is mismatched.
Thursday, October 24th
Donation: Boxed Food (stuffing, mac and cheese, instant potatoes)
Dress-Up Theme - "I will leave drugs in the PAST" Wear clothes from your favorite decade.
Friday, October 25th
Donation: Boxed Food (cake mix/icing, dessert mix, oatmeal)
Dress-Up Theme - "I am on top of my GAME against drugs" Wear your favorite team jersey or school shirt.
The donation items listed are suggestions. Community Link also takes the following items: toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, diapers, canned vegetables, dried beans, spaghetti, ramen noodles, and baby food.

WATCH D.O.G.S.
Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is an innovative father involvement and educational initiative of the National Center For Fathering. When you volunteer for the Watch D.O.G.S. program, you will be providing a positive role model for the students and an extra presence to enhance school security.

Mark your calendars! Our Fall Scholastic Book Fair will be held during the week of November 11-15. Mrs. Beaver, our librarian, is seeking volunteers to help with a variety of book fair tasks. Attendance Update
Our attendance rate for the entire 2018-2019 school year was 96.11%. Our goal for the 2019-2020 school year is 97.3%.
Our attendance rate for the 1st Six Week of 2019-2020 was 97.77%.
The school start time is 7:30AM. It is important that students are at school and on time every day. If your student needs to be absent please remember to call the front office and send a note upon return.
