News from our School Nurse

Our FMSD requires annual updates of all medical management forms. Medical Forms Packets for the school year 2023-24 are being sent out to parents this week and should arrive home in your student’s folders within next few days . Be sure to check folders and back packs. Please be sure to complete the medical forms with parent and physician signatures before school starts in August .

Please plan to pick up your student’s medications no later than 12 PM on 5/25/23 or communicate to Nurse Callahan if you are unable to make arrangements for pick up by that time. We do not keep and store medications over the summer. Left – over medications will be properly discarded if left unclaimed. Nurse Callahan is happy to help if you have any additional questions or need any assistance.

If you are planning to move out of Fort Mill or are enrolling your students in alternate educational programs, please reach out to Michelle England at This information will be very helpful for us as we plan staffing and class placements for the 2023-2024 school year.
