A breif overview of Buddhism
The Buddhist beliefs
Buddhism is not centered around any specific god or gods, but rather is focused on the whole of creation. Buddhism follows the teachings of the Buddha, who teaches of the existence and natures of souls, as well as reincarnation.
Common Buddhist rituals.
The most common and Buddhist practice is meditation. This is often accompanied with mantras, or prayer wheels. Aside from that, Buddhists may attend Buddhism schools, or go on trips to sites held sacred to them.
Brief Buddhist history.
Buddhism was (surprise surprise) founded by a man named Buddha Shakayuni, in 624 B.C. India. After a life of meditation for several years, he taught the darma. Hundreds followed his etchings, which soon turned to millions.
