What is pretoleum?
Petroleum is a liquid mixture of hydrocarbons that is present in suitable rock strata and can be extracted and refined to produce fuels. Petroleum and natural gas are extracted from the ground, on land or under the oceans. It can be classified as a fossil fuel. It is also a nonrenewable source,so it can not reproduce as fast as we use it so scientist have said in a century fossil fuels will be gone.
how its used
Every body uses petroleum in some type of way. Well petroleum is used to heat homes so we can be warm. They also make petroleum in other types of things,there can be very small to big amounts of petroleum in things like Ink, Enamel,Hand lotion, Toothbrushes,Aspirin,Footballs, and etc. Some advantages of petroleum are : it is one of the most abundant energy recourse, liquid from oil makes it easy to transport and use, relatively inexpensive .
