Triple Crown Reading Program Winners!
The National award winners were announced in May and are as follows:
K-3rd Winner: My Grandfather's Coat, by Jim Aylesworth
K-3rd Honor: Out of the Woods, by Rebecca Bond
4-5th Winner: Boy on the Porch, by Sharon Creech
4-5th Honor: Duke, by Kirby Larson
All winner and honor book authors were sent a plaque by the Triple Crown Reading Program organization in recognition for their contribution to exceptional children's literature.
In preparation for next school year's Triple Crown list, if your student is coming into 2nd through 5th grade, they may begin reading the Triple Crown books for 2017-2018 once they reach Silver level in the Geneva Summer Reading Program. Please see the Summer Reading Letter and lists for more information and email me if you have any questions.
