Marauder Moments
Williamson High School Newsletter - January 2019
Happy New Year, Williamson Families!
We are rapidly approaching midterms. Students have their schedules for their exams and know they are only reporting when they have an exam. There is an am and pm bus run home, but only one run to school.
Please encourage proper rest and nutrition, and slow and steady study habits. We are fortunate to have many different kinds of ways for students to review and are happy to help them decide what works for them.
We have Monday off in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We have linked a video below from the History Channel that gives an overview of the "I Have a Dream Speech." The Wayne County celebration of MLK Day information is also included. We can always strive to better honor the differences among us and focus on what unites us as a school and as a community.
Sincerely, Dr. Avery and Miss Chaya
The Benefits of Signing up for a Parental Schoology Account
Schoology will enhance connectivity and communication across our district. With Schoology, students can digitally submit homework assignments, review grades, receive announcements and feedback, take tests, and more. As a parent, you are able to view your child's activity, assignments and grades in every class. Below you will see the steps you need to take in order to create your account. Your parent access code should have been emailed to you earlier this year but if you can't find it please contact Mrs. Petrucci in the high school main office.
