Jaguars Innovate, Create and Learn
Message from Ms. Staley
Jewett continues to be a great place for learning. The students are enthusiastic, parents are supportive and the teachers are consistently working to provide the highest level of instruction for our kids. As we continue this year, I encourage you to maintain a positive outlook and take on any challenges with ferocity and determination. Setting up good habits regarding attendance and submitting quality work will benefit our students this year and throughout life.
As always, thank you for partnering with us in our efforts to make Jewett the best possible school for our students.

Message from LaClinica Counseling Office
Mental health support is available for Jewett families, both children and caregivers, through La Clinica’s school-based health center. David Smith is La Clinica’s new therapist at Jewett, replacing Janelle Chapman. David comes to La Clinica from Options for Southern Oregon’s children’s team in Josephine County, where he was the therapist embedded in two elementary schools in Grants Pass. He is able to provide in-person services at Jewett during school hours, or by telehealth in the evenings or for families who prefer remote sessions. Services are confidential and are not reflected on educational records.
If you and/or your child could benefit from mental health services, you can contact David directly by calling his office at Jewett (541) 494-6608. Your child’s teacher or Jewett’s front office can also submit a request on your behalf.
