Handwriting Continued Spacing

What a busy and exciting week here at LSLA!! Ask your child to write about his/her favorite part of the week.

If your child places words too close together, encourage the use of his/her index finger (non-dominant hand) as a spacer. The finger should be placed right after the last word written and the new word can start right after the finger. Placing a sticker on this finger may help your child remember to focus on spacing.
