Reading Program Opportunities

Don't get caught up in the Reading Summer Slide! Woodstone Elementary and the NEISD Library Summer Reading Guide along with Community Summer Reading Guide feature literature suggestions and incentive programs for students.

We hope you will take advantage of all the opportunities for summer reading!

And don't forget...we want to see what Woodstone is reading. Using the hashtag #WoodstoneReads, post pictures of what your children are reading OR pictures of them reading to Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. Include something about the book for added fun. Then search the #WoodstoneReads hashtag and follow the Woodstone Library on social media to see what others are reading.

Summer Reading Little Library Book Exchange

We hope you will take advantage of our "Little Library" this summer. Students may come all summer long and exchange books right outside our school located on the front porch. Give a book/Take a book!

Woodstone Summer Reading Olympic Games

Participate in Woodstone Summer Reading Olympic Games to win prizes for each level. Click the button and it will take you to the games. Print the second page and turn it back to the Woodstone Library when you return in August.

NEISD Summer Reading Guide

The reading lists on the website represent a wide variety of reading levels, genres, and points of view. Many are available on Sora from either our NEISD eLibrary or SAPL eLibrary. Click the ribbon above to get the NEISD Reading Guide!
