The Bledsoe Beat

Growing students socially, emotionally, and academically.

Bledsoe Roots and Wings

Bledsoe roots and wings are a wonderful gift. Our roots include time shared together, embedded with traditions and memories that will connect us to Bledsoe no matter where our wings may take us. Wings are bittersweet because making a change to a new experience may mean leaving a team or possibly leaving Bledsoe. Although it can be hard to say goodbye, it is a gift to have both, roots and wings. I want to honor staff members who are spreading their wings as they make a professional change for next year.

We are excited to share that Mrs. Shaw has decided to stay home with her babies. Mrs. McGrath is thrilled to get back into teaching as she will join the second grade team. We have hired within the district to replace Mrs. McGrath's position as the receptionist. We are so happy for Mrs. Hefner and her husband who are relocating to their hometown to be closer to their family. Mrs. Brill is excited to move to 5th grade to teach Reading and Social Studies. We needed to add a teacher to the fifth grade team, so Mrs. Funk is happy to pursue her love for Science and will be our 5th grade Science teacher. We have great news to share that Ms. Tejani has been accepted to the University of London's post graduate program. We are delighted that Mrs. Cook will be teaching writing in fourth grade. We will be reducing teachers in Kinder, going from 6 to 5 teachers. As a result, Mrs. Damer is excited to make the move to second grade. We are also reducing in 1st grade and Mrs. Doan will be moving to her children's home campus. We will only need 5 teachers in third grade next year. Mrs. Williams will be making one of her dreams come true as she moves to be one of our Special Education teachers.

Students brought back a classic - Duck Duck Goose during recess.

The deadline for completing the InfoSnap process is June 2, 2017. ***Please note, the updated proof of residency referenced at the completion of the InfoSnap process is for a JULY or AUGUST utility (water, gas, or electric only).
