Digestive Sytem
The system that gives you energy
Digestive System
The digestive system breaks down food into nutrients that is used by the body.
This system can give you nutrients and energy for the body to keep going on and stay healthy.
Also to get rid of body wastes
Parietal Cell
epithelial cells that secrete hydrochloric acid and intrinsic factor. These cells are located in the gastric glands found in the lining of the fundus and in the body of the stomach.
epithelial tissue
Epithelial tissue covers the whole surface of the body. It is made up of cells closely packed and ranged in one or more layers.
Stomach
The internal organ in which the major part of the digestion of food occurs, being (in humans and many mammals) a pear-shaped enlargement of the alimentary canal linking the esophagus to the small intestine
Digestive System
The organs and glands in the body that are responsible for digestion.
Organism
This baby has a digestive system that allows the organism to digest the food so the organs and cells can work together to give nutrients to the organism.
Homeostasis
The stomach provides the body with necessary materials from the food you eat so it can function properly and give you energy which allows homeostasis to occur.
Interaction
Circulatory interaction
The stomach works together with the circulatory system because it breaks down food for energy and give the heart the energy to pump blood through out the body
Respiratory interaction
The digestive system is relies on the respiratory system, because your digestive functions by using muscular contractions to break up food and move it along the system. These muscles depend upon oxygen in order to function without oxygen, your digestive system would stop working.
Muscular ineraction
The digestive system breaks down the food using muscular contractions! the digestive system cant function without the muscles and the muscles cant function without energy
