Morning club or meeting drop off (before school):

Please drop off children using the Bus Loop for AM clubs and meetings. This way it does not interfere with children and vehicles using the Main lot for Early Morning Care.

Why Attendance at School Matters:

Good attendance in elementary school is important for every child's academic journey. Every school day counts as it represents an opportunity for your child to learn and grow. Research consistently shows that there is a strong link between attendance and student achievement; students who attend school regularly perform better academically than those with irregular attendance.

Attendance patterns have a lasting impact on their future. A study found that kindergarten absenteeism is linked to negative outcomes in first grade and beyond, including lower achievement in reading, math, and general knowledge.

We understand that sometimes circumstances may lead to absences. It's essential to prioritize regular attendance and work with the school to address any challenges. We are committed to providing a supportive learning environment for your child, and your partnership in ensuring good attendance will greatly contribute to their success, throughout the school year ahead.

We will continue to work with you to support your child's successful journey at Central Elementary!
