SAUSD FACE Newsletter: April 2nd, 2021
Dear FACE Partners,
Spring Break is next week! This is a great time to disconnect from your devices and engage in family fun activities. This is an opportunity to bond and build your relationships.
You may ask what can we do and ensure we are safe, below is a list of ideas:
Family Movie Night: Have your family choose 2-3 movies, buy some popcorn and snacks, bring out your blanket and pillows, and enjoy!
Socially Distanced Picnic: Pack up a lunch, take the family to the park, keep your distance from others, and wear your masks.
Family Game Day: Grab your favorite board games for family time. You can also go outside and create an obstacle course or play with water balloons.
Take a mini road trip: Tell your kids to choose their favorite music, grab some snacks, and go on a short drive to a nearby destination. The great thing about Southern California is that within an hour distance you can enjoy the scenic views of mountains, deserts, or beaches.
STEAM Day: Get your kids excited about, science, technology, engineering, art, and math. See a link below for 23 Fun STEAM and STEM Activities for Kids. https://www.parents.com/kids/education/math-and-science/5-fun-stem-crafts-for-kids/
I hope you all enjoy the precious time you have with your families, cherish each other, and have fun together.
Sincerely,
Elisa Briseno
