Teacher Librarians play many vital roles in their school community: promoting literacy, empowering creators, connecting and collaborating with teachers, just to name a few. Join fellow Grant Wood AEA Teacher Librarians for a day of connecting, learning and inspiration as we explore ways that Teacher Librarians can make an impact on their school community!
This will be the kickoff event for the yearlong Teacher Librarian Workshop Series that will explore the crosswalk between various guiding frameworks (Future Ready Librarian, ISTE, AASL) and practice.
Why attend?
In addition to an interactive keynote with Tamiko, the day's learning will include several opportunities to work with other area Teacher Librarians in like roles, as well as breakout sessions based around library spaces, literacy promotion and building collaborative partnerships!
