A message from LRE...

We wanted to let you know that we have posted our summer professional development schedule on our website, www.texaslre.org . All sessions are free of charge.

All offerings are virtual and open to educators across the state. We will be using an online professional development catalog to allow educators to register and will open registration on April 19, 2021, but we thought it might be helpful for you to have the dates in advance.

We are adding a new institute called Civics Rocks. This is a great introduction to civics and government and is targeting middle school teachers and upper elementary. The focus on systems and institutions of government makes it great training for 6th grade World Cultures teachers. We are embedding some of our country cards in the training.
