We've had a busy start to the 2016-2017 school-year! I'm looking forward to a great year full of reading opportunities and hands-on activities.

We're having a READ-IN!

Calling all Tigers! Grab a book and get ready to read! On September 21st, from 10:00-10:30am, the entire THE campus will take time to read for 30 minutes. We're excited to take part in H-E-B's Read 3 Program, which encourages reading aloud to children at least three times per week. To learn more about this program, visit H-E-B's website.

Sign up for a Parent Library Account

If you would like access to NEISD's digital library and Tuscany's print collection, please sign up for a parent library account. Visit Tuscany's library page and click the link entitled "THE Parent Account" located underneath the Library News box in the first column. Interested parents should sign up for an account at the beginning of each school year.
Bluebonnet Reading Challenge

Bluebonnet Reading Challenge

All 3rd-5th grade students are encouraged to read at least 5 Bluebonnet Books during the fall semester. Students will keep simple notes in their Bluebonnet journals and are eligible to win library prizes. In January, participating Tigers will join students from around the state of Texas to vote for their favorite title and take part in choosing the winner of the 2017 Bluebonnet Award.
