5 common interview questions and tips on how to answer them

  • Tell me about yourself.
Keep your answer short and don't go on about every detail in your life. Focus on personal achievements that apply to the job.

Conduct research about the company before you get there and tell them what you know about it.

For your strengths tell them something that applies to the job and for your weakness make sure that it doesn't affect the job.


  • Why did you leave your last job?
Don't criticize your old workplace or the managers. Say something to affect of the job didn't fit me very well.


  • Where do you see yourself in five years?
Answer this to make it sound like you have goals and see yourself gaining experience but don't tell them that you want to be the CEO in the next five years.
