Library Obligations
Parents will soon be receiving letters regarding library books that their children have not returned to school libraries. If you receive one of these letters, please be sure the books are returned ASAP. If indeed the book(s) are lost, please pay the cost of the book(s) indicated in the letter. Not all of the books are from the E. C. Glass collection. Many are ones never returned to elementary or middle schools. These accounts need to be settled before students can purchase prom tickets or participate in spring activities.
Key Club
Currently, the Key Club is sponsoring a drive for the Lynchburg Humane Society. To help numerous kittens thrive until they are adopted, the Humane Society needs several items including the following:
- Kitten Chow Meat varieties of baby food
- Cotton swabs KMR (canned milk for kittens
- Small blankets Small bottles of Dawn dish detergent
- Toothbrushes Digital food scales
- Syringes & Nipples Oral thermometers
- Heating pads Flea/lice combs
- Pedialyte Litter scoops
- Sandwich bags Gallon bags
- Cat toys
The above items are used to create kits for the Kitten Warriors, those who foster young kittens until they are adopted. If you prefer to order items online, the Humane Society has a wish list on Amazon. Please consider donating just a few items to help the Humane Society take care of these cat babies. All items should be delivered to the Glass Library between now and March 26 when Key Club members will take collected items to the Humane Society. Thank you for helping save the kitties!

Nurse News
Greetings from the ECG clinic:
The end of the school year is fast approaching! If your student has diabetes, asthma, seizures, migraines, anaphylactic allergic reactions, or any other medical condition that requires medication or nursing care to be given by the school nurse OR medication to be self-carried by your student, we are required to have the appropriate action plan on file in the school clinic. Please have your student stop by the clinic in the coming months to pick up the appropriate form for you to have on hand at your student's next physical. A new form is required for each school year. Please email the nurse at campbellkd@lcsedu.netwith any questions. Thank you!
