Solar Energy
Solar Energy and how it works
Whats Solar Energy
Solar Energy is energy that comes from the sun. This energy is in the form of solar radiation, which makes the production of solar electricity possible. The electricity can be produced by PV cells which means "light" and "electric". Solar energy can be renewable.
How Solar energy works
Why you should use solar energy
Solar panels can be very expensive to install but once its installed it can produce energy free of charge.
Solar energy can be used forever whereas the worlds oil reserve will only last about 30-40 years.
Advantages of solar energy
Solar energy causes no pollution and can be last forever.
Solar energy noise at all but burning fuel using giant machines can cause alot of noise.
Very little maintenance is required to get solar cells running.
Solar energy can be very beneficial over time producing free electricity.
Disavantages of solar energy
Soalr energy also depends on the countries exposure to sunlight and can sometimes not produce electricity very efficiently.
Soalr power is used to charge batteries so that it can be used at night. The batteries are often very large and heavy and take a lot of space
