Wondering About Measure O?

Find out all you need to know about Measure O here.
What Kind of Parent Are You: Carpenter or Gardener?

The "carpenter" parent thinks that a child can be molded, writes Alison Gopnik. The "gardener," on the other hand, is less concerned about who the child will become and instead provides a protected space to explore.

Dear El Carmelo Families,

One more survey to go! Fourth and Fifth Grade parents the learning options survey was emailed to you by the District on Monday. If you have not received the survey, check your spam folder, if you don't see it, please email me.

Danaé,

How can I keep my child's teacher?

There are no guarantees in either program that you will stay with your child's teacher.

Classes and teachers in both learning models depend on the number of students in each grade level. Once the District knows the number of students participating in each model, classes can be created and teachers will be assigned.

Take a look at the slides from the recent Coffee with the Principal to learn more about the difference between Hybrid Learning and Distance Learning.

I have included information below about both learning options.

Be well,

Danaé
