Lionheart Run with the Pride Fun Run: Wednesday, March 25th from 10 am-1 pm at Country Park

With spring in the air and a spring in their step :), Lionheart students will get to spend a school day running/walking around the scenic and beautiful loop at Country Park as they honor their school and individual sponsors in the Lionheart Run with the Pride Fun Run. The funds raised will be used to sponsor community outings for the Lionheart students to support the growth of their social and independent living skills. The Lionheart PTO’s goal is to sponsor four community outings per year at $1000 per outing which equals a fundraising goal of $4000. If each family raises $80 in sponsorships for each child, we will reach our goal :). Contributions can be made online at https://www.mightycause.com/story/Lionheart or sent in with your child. After the run, we will have a picnic at Shelter #7 with its breathtaking view of the lake and the park. The picnic will be followed by an awards ceremony for the top finishers and fundraisers along with a refreshing frozen treat for all! Family members are welcome to participate in the run/walk, cheer on the Lionheart students, and/or join the picnic :).

Lionheart Bowling Social Event: March 29 from 2-4 pm at Triad Lanes

Come out and have a "strikingly" great time as we bowl the afternoon away at Triad Lanes. We have reserved 6 lanes and secured the awesome deal of 2 hours of bowling with shoes for only $8 per bowler! Triad Lanes also has an arcade and grill. So whether you're a bowler, a gamer, a snacker, or a just-want-to-hangouter; we hope to see you there :). Find out who your child likes to hang out with at school, and encourage them to come along, too!

Lend a Helping Hand at Lunch

Come and serve food with a smile :) as the Lionheart students make their way through the lunch line. Servers are especially needed on days with Chick Fil A, pizza, or Asian food. Those days in March are the 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th, and 31st. Serving lunch to the students allows the staff to monitor the students in the cafeteria and eat lunch, too! You can sign-up to volunteer at https://signup.com/go/NJJvtEv. Thank you!
