“A true leader is a person whose influence inspires people to do what is expected of them to do. You cease to be a leader when you manipulate with your egos instead of convincing by your inspirations.” ― Israelmore Ayivor
Being left brained, I like more structure, control, clarity, focus, direction, responsibility, organization, planning, mathematical and analytical skills, listening skills, and rational and logical thinking. However, sometimes I need more spontaneity, expression, nurturing and social and interpersonal activity. Also imagination and creativity, artistry and holistic, abstract and conceptual thinking.
Quote for Life
"There is no need for wanton violence and barbarism when one has a good book and some animal crackers." -Obadiah Koster
Decision Making
When making decisions I tend to follow the Directive Style. For those of you who don't know what that means, people like me with that style of choosing are practical and authoritarian, they complete tasks quickly, are results oriented, and tend to focus on tasks and details. Others sometimes perceive my decision-making as rigid, impersonal, and autocratic. The best organizational fit for me is one that allows for power and authority, structure, and is goal-oriented.
My Personality Type
I have a green personality type. This means that I am a problem solver, strategic planner, curious learner, and a logical organizer. When I communicate, I consider many facts and details, think before I speak, and take calculated risks. It frustrates me when others engage in useless small talk and when I fail and humiliate myself publicly.
