I came across this idea from a friend and I really like it and I wanted to get your feedback on how we should participate as a school in this great events that promotes literacy, as well as community.

I was talking with Mandi and she did this in her past school, and brought her pumpkins in to show me. I have also mentioned it to Renee because we thought maybe she could host the pumpkins. I would provide the pumpkins, and Mandi even had the idea of form pumpkins so they can not rot.

Below is a form to fill out to get your feedback

RIMPS are for students in grade K,1,2,3 and are for students that are in red for Dibels. The administration team in meeting Tuesday morning to revise the RIMP to make it a more useful document that we use to track the students progress and show growth. As soon as that now form is completed I will pass it on. The person who is responsible for doing Dibles on that particular child, writes the RIMP.

Veterans Day Parade

We will be participating in the Veteran's Parade this year. Mary has always help organize it, and get applications in but she is steeping down. Please let me know if you are interested in helping to organize the parade.

Hopes and Goals

We like to continue the tradition of writing our own Hopes and Goals. I am placing a Star in your mailbox. Please take some time over the next few days to write down with permant marker what your Hopes and Goals are this year on the star. Please put the star in my mailbox, before our next staff meeting on Oct 5th

Remind App

I am going to be using the Remind App with staff this year to send reminders out through text messages. You can join one of two ways. You can join through the link:

Or you can look below for a way to text and join remind.

You don't have to sign up if you don't want to, the app is free and you would have to subscribe to get the text messages. This is a great form of communication, and I know teachers across the country that use it for their parents in their classroom.
