About Gioacchino Rossini
Gioacchino Antonio Rossini, born in February 29, 1792. He was born in Pesaro, Italy. His father, Giuseppe, was a horn player and inspector of slaughterhouses, and his mother, Anna, was a singer and a bakers daughter. Rossini's parents started his music training early. By the age of six he was playing the triangle in his fathers musical group. He was take from Pesaro and apprenticed to a blacksmith. in 1804 he performed at the theatre of the commune in Ferdinando paers camilla. In 1806 he learned to play the cello. He had a love for music.

His first opera, la cambiale di matrimono was produced at Venice when he was 18. By the age of 21 Rossini had established himself as an idol of Italian opera.
