Safe School Reporting Form

This form is to be used by students and parents to report bullying &/or any safety concerns. It is also located in the FAMILIES/STUDENTS tab on our site website...SAFE SCHOOL REPORTING.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS!

While we do not want students who are sick and contagious at school, we do ask that you partner with us to be sure your student is at school as consistently as possible. Student success begins with consistent attendance - it is important for secondary students to be in class everyday possible. In the event that your student is unable to be at school, please do the following to ensure the absence is properly accounted for and student assignments are completed:
  • Communicate with us! Let our front office know that your student will be absent. Please call 405.324.2236 as early as possible in the day to let us know your student is going to be absent, the reason, and an approximate date of return. Please include the student's name, your name, and your relationship to the student if you leave a message.
  • If you have one, turn in a copy of the Doctor's Note that explains the absence.
  • Be sure your student checks their Canvas to keep up with assignments/activities they are missing while absent.
  • Encourage your student to communicate with their teacher(s) regarding any questions they may have about missing assignments.
  • Be sure make-up work is completed and turned in in a timely manner.

8th Grade MHS Informational Day

On January 24, Mustang High School will be hosting a 23-24 Enrollment Kick-off Assembly for our 8th graders. We will be traveling by bus to MHS at the beginning of the day and be back at North by noon. The purpose of the morning assembly is to give the students helpful information about the courses and programs that are offered at MHS along with information about the clubs, organizations, activities and opportunities offered for them throughout high school. It should be a great morning!

MHS will also be hosting a Bronco Course Expo on February 2 in the evening for students and parents to attend to learn more information for enrollment. (more specific information will be coming soon)

Soon after, MHS Counselors will be coming to MNMS to meet with each 8th grade student to talk about the career clusters/ICAP and get students in the right classes for next year.

We will switch the 7th and 8th grade lunch times on this day. 7th lunch will be at 11:13 and 8th lunch will be at 12:02.
