Liberty Park Elementary School Newsletter

Week of November 4, 2019

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Liberty Park Families,

Don't forget that this weekend is the time change! We have to set our clocks back 1 hour on Sunday night. Also, just a reminder that this coming Tuesday is a teacher professional development day and there is no school for students.

As we continue to enhance the safety of our building visitor procedures you may notice a new change this week. All visitors to our building will be required to scan their drivers license/ID into our visitor management system which will print a visitors badge to be worn during your visit. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we implement this new safety protocol.

I hope that you and your family have a great weekend and as always, I thank you for your continued support of Liberty Park Elementary!

Your Principal,

Jason Brooks

Meet a New LP Patriot!

Candice Sample - 3rd Grade

I’m very excited to join the Liberty Park team for my 21st year of teaching! I started my teaching career in Ohio. I enjoyed teaching English in Japan for 15 months. I taught at Brookview Elementary for the last 16 years. I have 3 children ages 15, 10, and 3. They keep me young and in tune with what kids these days enjoy. I love traveling, watching movies, shopping, and spending time with my family.

Thank you for sharing your children with us each day!

SCHOOL DISTRICT PUBLICATIONS/NEWS MEDIA USE

The occasion may arise when the school district wants to recognize your child or your child's school. This may include your child's photo, your child's name or your child's work in district publications, newsletters, on school district websites, and in electronic/social media or in staff training videos. We may also want to tell the media (including newspapers, television, and radio) about your child's achievements. We never knowingly release information about a student to anyone who wants to use it for commercial/political purposes. However, we will honor your request to not include your child in these types of recognitions if you notify your child's school office in writing that you do not want this type of information released.
