It has been almost ONE year since our closure in March 2020. Many things have changed, but fortunately we have been able to offer face to face instruction since August 2020. The spring is always a busy time of year. See our upcoming events.

March 3 Letter from Mr. Self, Muenster ISD Superintendent

Dear Parents,

I know many of you are wondering about how the MISD will respond to the Governor's address of March 2nd. At this time, we will continue with COVID protocols as they have been in place for the entire school year. School districts across the state are waiting on guidance from the Texas Education Agency. The Commissioner of Education has a ZOOM meeting scheduled for superintendents tomorrow. After that meeting, MISD administration will have a much better idea of our position on this and no major changes will be made until the MISD Board of Education reviews alternatives at the March 10th board meeting.

We at Muenster ISD thank you for your patience and understanding at this time.

Steven Self

COVID-19 Protocols & Face Coverings

Muenster ISD Campus Procedures Related to COVID-19 (Details & Flowchart)

Muenster ISD is asking parents and students do their part to help mitigated the spread of COVID-19 so we can continue to offer in-person classes. To review these procedures, click on the link above.

Face coverings (Updated Nov. 2020)

Face coverings are required for all staff and all students PK-12th. Face shields may be used in place of a mask to protect eyes, nose, and mouth whenever a mask is not feasible or whenever the educational context may benefit from the ability to see an individual’s full face.

2020-2021 Bus Protocols

  • NO EXTRA RIDERS - Students can NOT bring extra riders with them on the route buses.

  • Students may ONLY be dropped off at the stop on file with the transportation department.

  • Students and other passengers are to wear a mask while on the bus.

  • The seat behind the driver is to be left open.

  • Students are to sit one to a seat.

  • Every other row is to be left open.

  • When students enter the bus, they are to sit in their assigned seat (same seat every time - no moving to new seats during route).

Transportation Forms

All students that will ride the bus, must fill out this form prior to riding a bus.
