KIDS HEART CHALLENGE
I would like to personally thank each and every person who was able to donate to our Kids Heart Challenge through the American Heart Association. As a building, our goal was set at $11,000. After all of the donations were tallied, BANNES raised an astonishing $18,723.10!!!! This is unbelievable. I can't put into words how appreciative I am of the amazing community we have. Thank you!
Please review the notice attached below from Mrs. Otte. It contains valuable information regarding our district policy about illnesses.
All Kids Can apparel is now available to District families. All proceeds will benefit D140 families in need. Click here to order today!
Share Your Thoughts to Help Improve Our Schools!
If you have not done so already, please be sure to take the Illinois 5Essentials Parent Survey at https://survey.5-essentials.org/Illinois/
School and District leaders use their 5Essentials data to better inform their school improvement plans and help identify key strengths and areas for growth. Your identity and survey responses will be kept completely confidential and will never be connected to you or your child.
Thanks for your support!

There is NO SCHOOL on TUESDAY, MARCH 17TH. This change was made by the Board of Education as a precautionary student safety measure because several of our schools are used as public polling places.

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL
You will notice a new sign out front as you drop off your child(ren) in the morning. This will help as some parents were driving to the North door only to realize the staff on duty had already closed the doors.
Please find this as a reminder that the school day officially begins at 7:55 AM.
Keep in Touch!
I encourage you to visit ksd140.org throughout the school year for key events and information pertaining to our school and the District. As always, please don't hesitate to contact me if you need assistance. My door is always open.
Respectfully,
Mr. Dan Callaghan
