Principal's Message
Over the past few weeks, we have welcomed a number of new students and families to the CFT community, and we now have over 480 students! It's wonderful to see the hallways, classrooms and playground full of children learning, playing and going about their days. That said, a growing student population needs a growing population of adults to support them.
We are hiring! We currently have several open opportunities to join the CFT team as a classified Instructional Assistant, and we would love for them to be filled by caring adults who might already have a connection to our community. If you are interested - or know someone who might be interested - in working with the best elementary school team ever, please consider applying for one of our open positions.
We are hiring:
- 3 temporary assistants to support 1st grade. 5.75 hours with benefits after 65 days
- 1 temporary health room assistant, 3.75 hours
- 2-3 recess/lunch assistants, 2.25 hours
- 1 temporary ELD assistant, 3.75 hours
- 1 custodial assistant, 3 hours (after school)
Please see below for links to the application website and more information about the positions.

Estamos contratando:
- 3 asistentes temporales para apoyo de 1er grado. 5.75 horas con beneficios después de 65 días

HALLOWEEN GUIDELINES - Monday, October 31, 2022
Students may wear costumes for the final hour of school.
Classes may choose to have Halloween, Harvest or Fall parties during that time.
Any student may opt out of the Halloween festivities and go to the library for an alternate activity.
General guidelines for costumes:
Costumes should not appropriate a culture to which the student does not belong.
Students need to be recognizable; masks or makeup that make it difficult to identify a child should be left at home.
Costumes should not be scary, bloody or involve simulated weapons of any kind.
Costumes should not inhibit students’ ability to move safely and easily in school environments.
*********************************************
