Note from Ms. Moulton

Good Evening, Families!

Wow! This past Friday we distributed almost all of the kits for students in Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 - that's between 250 and 280 kits!). A big thank you to our staff members for making this possible and to all of the parents and families who created time to stop by the school. We know that this may not have been easy for you to do! If you were not able to get here, we understand. The remaining kits can be picked up at the Main Entrance during school hours in the coming days (7:30 am -3:00 pm).

Last week we held our October PTO meeting. During the Principal's Report, I shared information regarding the work that has been happening in the building to get the school year up and running and to prepare for a possible hybrid return. You can access the slides that I shared here. Thank you in advance to the Hosmer PTO for their contribution of recess supplies for each cohort. This is VERY appreciated!

Tomorrow evening we have our "Not-So-Open" Open House, which is being held via zoom. The intent of this evening is for teachers to provide an overview of the curriculum for the given grade level and to share any other important information with parents. Children are not expected to attend. The evening will be structured with the first half taking place as a full grade level and the second half in homerooms.

Grade level curriculum Brochures can be found here:

K| G1 | G2 | G3 | G4 | G5

The Open House schedule if as follows:

4:30 - 5:30 - 5th Grade

5:00 - 6:00 - 3rd Grade

5:30 - 6:30 - 1st Grade

6:00 - 7:00 - Kindergarten

6:30 - 7:30 - 4th Grade

7:00 - 8:00 - 2nd Grade

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, for your support of our students, and our school Hosmer is a special place because of this fantastic community.
