Box Tops Contest
Please collect and send in those Box Tops. The top class will win $50. The contest ends February 24th. A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Hardesty and Mrs. Mullins for cutting and getting us organized!
Assignment Notebook
Please remember to check and sign your child's assignment notebook. This is a great tool for you to know if your child has homework, and help your child remember what needs to be completed every evening.
Homework
I have several students who have NOT been turning in homework. Completing homework is imperative for success at school. Students are required to learn a LOT of material in the short amount of time that I have them in 1st grade.
To develop good homework habits:
-have your child complete his/her homework
-check your child's homework for mistakes
-have your child correct those mistakes
