Please mark your calendars! Graduation is scheduled for Monday, May 17th at 6:00 pm. Kindergarten and 12th grade will be combined into one ceremony. There is some information in the PAC minutes which were sent out today. More details to follow as the date approaches.
Written & IllustratedEach year, students at Cooper Landing School write and illustrate their own books. Typically, the students present their books to the community at an "Authors' Tea" held at the school; however, this year it will be recorded and the link shared out on Tuesday, May 18th. Families will then be able to watch with whoever they wish. You don't want to miss this!
The last day of school is May 19. We only have 12 days left! Hopefully, the weather will start to seem more like summer in the days to come!
Please visit our website at https://kpbsd.org/schools/cooper-landing/. There is a lot of useful information including links to the Cooper Landing Gem, minutes of PAC meetings, etc.

The students did really well making it through the last few weeks of testing. We appreciate their patience and attention.
We will be offering the families of Hope a second chance to come in and stock up on the remainder of our leftovers from the generous donations we received from Kenai Peninsula Food Bank this Friday. We still have some Chili, Pork and Beans, Cheerios, Pear halves, Ramen, Peanut Butter, Mac and Cheese and Green Beans. Only 2 hours from 9 to 11am. You can pull around the east side of the school, making sure you don't park someone in.
Have a great week!
A friendly reminder that all students out sick, regardless of whether they have been sent home from school, or you have opted to keep them home must follow district protocol for COVID19 quarantining. This means they must quarantine for 10 days AND not return until they have been symptom free for 24 hours OR they may get tested and return to school after a negative test result AND remaining symptom free for 24 hours. Students must be medication free to be considered symptom free.
More information is available on the district website: https://www.kpbsd.k12.ak.us/students_parents.aspx?id=41540 and from our school nurse: firstname.lastname@example.org
