Brookwood High School SGA Movie Night

Brookwood High School SGA Movie Night

Grab a blanket and join the BHS Student Government Association for a Home Alone Movie Night on Saturday, December 4th from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Brookwood High School Commons. A $5 donation is requested upon entry to benefit Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Brookwood Elementary is looking for an additional cafeteria monitor in the Colt Cafe'. Cafeteria monitors work during school hours and only on days that students are in school.

Brookwood Elementary School will be having a special Candlelight Luncheon for our students on December 9th and 10th . Each class will have an assigned day where students get to eat in the decorated cafeteria. While we are not able to welcome visitors for this luncheon, we are excited about creating a special memory for the students.

A Message from the Clinic - Donations Needed!

The Brookwood Elementary clinic is in need of donations of pants or shorts. There have been a lot of accidents, milk spills, muddy clothes, and bloody noses. Unreturned clothes have depleted our clinic supply of extra changes.


All sizes of boys' and girls' athletic-type pants or shorts are needed. Donations can be sent in with students or dropped off at the Brookwood Elementary front office.

A MESSAGE FROM The BES HEALTH RESPONSE TEAM

Did you know that Brookwood ES has a Health Response Team (HRT) which manages and communicates COVID related information with staff, students and parents? The HRT gathers information, conducts contact investigations and communicates as needed. In the next few months, it is important that you continue to alert the school if your child develops symptoms or tests positive for the virus.

Common symptoms include:

Fever (100.4 or higher), Cough, Shortness of breath, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, congestion/runny nose, nausea/vomiting, sore throat, fatigue

Cancer has touched many of the staff of Brookwood Elementary School in some way. To help fight back, Brookwood Elementary has committed to raise funds and participate in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life event. The Brookwood Elementary Relay for Life team has set the goal to raise $10,000 for Relay for Life this year! You can help us meet our goal in a few ways:

  • Make a Donation - We are accepting donations via our team website.
