Part-Time Position in Tel Aviv

What you'll be doing

We are looking for a talented Intern to join our Growth & Marketing team. In this role, you will assist with creating content and maintaining Smore's online presence.

Smore makes intuitive newsletter software used by millions of people across the globe, with a special focus on educators in the United States. We're an established startup, and as part of our marketing and growth objectives, we create top-notch content that's fun and relevant to our audience.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, expressive, and creative person to join our crew. You'll have the opportunity to work with David, our senior writer, on blog content and social media posts, and with Ya'ara, head of marketing, on optimizing our online presence, content, and video to drive results.

As Marketing intern, we expect you to be well-versed in best practices on social media platforms, and especially on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. You should have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, thorough, and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll have three fields of responsibility: blog posts, video content, and social media.

Blog

  • Write new blog posts for our company blog, as well as update existing blog posts
  • Assist in optimizing our blog, utilizing SEO guidelines and content best practices
  • Correspond with users to source guest posts


Video Content

  • Review footage; highlight & sequence relevant content; interface with our video editor to develop content
  • Optimize descriptions, subtitles, tags, and YouTube channel settings
  • Share videos across our social channels, using channel-specific best practices


Social Media

  • Develop, create, and schedule content for our social media platforms
  • Help crosspost blog & video content, as well as product updates, on our social channels
  • Figure out innovative ways to optimize our social media presence and engage with our audience


This is a paid internship and will be approximately 20-30 hours, or 2.5/3 days a week.
