Board of Education Meets Virtually
The Tuscaloosa City Board of Education met Tuesday night in a virtual setting. Board members approved the dissolution of Success Prep Academy in favor of offering services at local high schools. The measure was approved in a 7-1 vote.
In other action, the board:
- Approved the Minutes of April 3, 2020 Called Board Meeting
- Discussed Providing Guidance on Required Two-Mile Transportation Attendance Zone
- Received Financial Reports for October 1, 2019 - February 29, 2020 and All Reports are Reconciled w/Bank Statements through February 29, 2020
- Approved Amended MOU between The City of Tuscaloosa and Tuscaloosa City School System
- Approved Superintendent's Recommendation Regarding Changes in Personnel
- Approved Re-Envisioning Success Prep for SY 2020-2021
