Ezekiel

Ezekiel Verses
- "prophesy over these bones, and say to them: Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord"(Ez 37:4)
- "Son of Man, eat what is before you; eat this scroll, then go, speak to the house of Israel" (Ez 3:1)
- "lie down on your left side, while I place the guilt of the house of Israel upon you. As many days as you lie like this, you shall bear their guilt.
I allot you three hundred and ninety days during which you must bear the guilt of the house of Israel, the same number of years they sinned.
When you have completed this, you shall lie down a second time, on your right side to bear the guilt of the house of Judah forty days; I allot you one day for each year." (Ez 4:4-6)
Explanation
- Ezekiel had a vision of dry bones.
- God calls Ezekiel to be a prophet.
- Ezekiel sleeps on his left side for 390 days, and right after, Ezekiel sleeps on his right side for 40 days.
vision of Ezekiel
God gave a vision to Ezekiel of dry bones. God explain his vision to Ezekiel by saying the Israelites are being like lifeless bones, and god will give them a new life.
wolf eats sheep
When the Israelites fell in Idolatry, the shepherd didn't watch the sheep to worship idol Gods, and the Wolves ate the sheep.
watching sheep
Ezekiel was known to be a watchman, sent by God, to watch over the Israelites.
