Genital Herpes is a sexually transmitted disease caused by herpes in the genital area.

How is it transmitted?

It is transmitted by vaginal, oral, or anal sex or from unprotected sex.


  • itching
  • painful sores
  • red bumps
  • flu-like symptoms
  • headache
  • fever

How is it treated?

By going to a doctor. A doctor can an antiviral medication.


  • It can reactive-vate it self
  • there is no cure.
  • It can increase the risk of HIV infection.


  • Abstinence
  • Use a condom during sex (vaginal, oral, or anal)
  • Condoms don't always work
