HOST AN EXCHANGE STUDENT!
Open your heart and home to a life-changing experience
The Council for Educational Travel, USA (CETUSA) is expanding into the Greater Boise area and is currently interviewing host families who would like to open their homes to a life changing cross-cultural experience.
Hosts can choose a student from a country they are interested in, who shares common interests and who will be a great addition to their family! Make a lifelong friendship that spans the globe! English speaking exchange students arrive in August to study in an American high school and immerse in American family life and activities. CETUSA students come from 40 different countries with an eagerness to learn what makes our country so great, their own spending money, and their own insurance.
Host families provide room and board, some local transportation, and guidance. By hosting, family members can become lifelong cultural learners who demonstrate open minds and hearts. If you have the ability to spend time with a teenager over dinner, to help them build a better English vocabulary, to introduce them to your friends and family, and to explain why Americans are diverse and what our freedom really means, then you may have what it takes to be a host parent!
