We have a new announcement procedure for all athletic, club and regular meeting notifications. To streamline this process we are asking that you use the google form instead of emailing individual folks. Unless it is an emergency, these announcements will be broadcast Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays before lunch. Please see this link to submit announcement requests.

MONDAY MORNING 9th Grade Assembly, Period 3:

Our Academy 9 team is facilitating a 9th grade only assembly during our third period on Monday. Students should report to their third period class, have their attendance recorded and then either: be accompanied to the auditorium by their teacher if it is a 9th grade only section OR dismissed to go to the auditorium from a mixed grade classroom. There will be a VOIP when it is time to release students to the auditorium. The purpose of this assembly is to celebrate our 9th grade students and their successes during their first semester as Demos.

Some students may be missing 1st period to practice in the auditorium. Jen/Melissa will make the attendance adjustments for those students.

DANCE CLASS WITH STEVE GONZALES!

*This is a group activity. Join us! The more, the more hilarious!

Step into the shoes of a Jefferson Dancer (well, not literally…) for an exclusive class led by JD Artistic Director Steve Gonzales. Steve will break down a jazz piece into its elements, demonstrating and teaching each segment to the class. The grand finale involves participants putting together all the moves into one complete piece. All levels of dancers are welcome (truly!).

Date: Tuesday, February 21, 2023

Time: 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Cost: $20 for parents and community members and FREE to Jefferson HS Staff. Funds raised through the class support the Jefferson Dancers.
