Leavenworth County Bomb Squad Visit
It is 5th grade STEM week and we will have several visitors in our building. I wanted to give you a heads up that the Leavenworth County Bomb Squad will be visiting on May 5 from 9:15 - 10:45, but it is nothing to be concerned about.

Incoming 6th Grade Parent Night at BLMS

I have included a couple of great little videos for parents and students about growing neural pathways and one of OUR true superpowers - neuroplasticity! Check these out.
Video 1: The Neuroscience of Learning : Whether you're perfecting your free throw or picking up a new language, you need to form new pathways in your brain in order to learn anything. The scientific term for this process is called plasticity: your brain’s ability to create and strengthen connections between neurons.
