Off to a Great Start!

A Great Start to the Year

CGHS has had a Great start to the year. Teachers have worked hard to bring a first class education to the district's 7th-12th graders and earned the distinction of being one of America's Best High Schools from US News and World Report for the third year running. Teachers staff have been using innovative instruction to bring your students the best education possible. Each student in the HS is now equipped with a laptop and teachers incorporate these into daily instruction. Doing these help create students and graduates ready for the jobs of tomorrow.

This year CG Helped the Area Celebrate Red Ribbon Week

In order to increase awareness of the risks of drug and alcohol abuse as well as promote positive choices CG students engaged in several Red Ribbon Week activities. Students places red ribbons around trees on campus. They also posted affirmations in public spaces on red cards. Students were also asked to sign a pledge to make healthy choices. After being displayed in the foyer, the pledge banner is now moved to the BOE room. Red Ribbon week was 10/23-10/31.
