Teaching the Way of Jesus Christ

A Message from our Principal

Dear Holy Family Community,

After a fantastic Back to School Bash everyone was ready for the first day of school last Tuesday, August 13! It was so heartening to see all of the students, parents and teachers in the library for our prayer service – it is clear that Holy Family truly is a close-knit and loving community! Many parents congregated in the cafeteria for coffee after prayer; this was another great way for all of us “newbies” to get to know our long time families.

HFCS is initiating a Virtue of the Month Program and our Virtue of the Year is Unity, with our Theme of the Year being “Unity through Joyful Discipleship.”

Big picture

Good news – both our new Music teacher and new Spanish teacher will begin classes with the students this week! Mrs. Anita Hurst will be teaching Kinder through 3rd grade on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as, accompanying our School Mass. Mrs. Jean Tocco has taught Spanish at HFCS before and is returning to teach MS Spanish on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please join me in welcoming Mrs. Hurst and Mrs. Tocco.

The Back to School Dance last Saturday was a family event and a good time was had by all! Thank you to all the parents.
