Save The Tiger
The population decrease
Why are they are so important?
These animals are impotent because the play a big roll in there ecosystem. By keeping all the animals in the forest tamed, that is true because they are called the king of the forest, and they are a symbol of power and strength.
How and why do we kill them?
How people kill them is they hide out in the forest ad wait till they get in front of you and trap it or kill it. They are hunted for there meat so we can eat, and their skin so we can make coats and rugs. We also kill them for there body parts, to be used for medicine. We do the same thing to the tigers as we do to kidneys on the black market, we sell them to get a lot of money.
How many are left in the world, you ask?
The global population in the wild is estimated to number between 3,062 and 3,948 individuals, down from around 100,000 at the start of the 20th century. That's almost a decrease of 96,000 tigers.
