Welcome Back! Advanced Literacy Are the New Buzz Words
Reading opens doors, opens worlds and gives us a quiet time in a ever more noisy world. Read about the power of reading in Peter Economy's short article "17 Quotes About the Power of Reading." We can work with your students and have them publish their book recommendations in our teen newsletter. Are you planning a research project? Now is the time to book an appointment for your class. Arrange a series of lessons in the library to have your students utilize our databases for research, information literacy skills or other topics tailored to your class curriculum. Speak to Ms. Bayer, the librarian, in Room B06, our library or call her at extension 6060.
Vote for Your Favorite Book
The New York LIbrary Association runs its own THREE APPLES Book Award where teens nominate their favorite book here: THREE APPLES BOOK AWARD here.
